We are useing VMware vCenter Protect Essential V8.0 We are scanning our workstations via an IP range can. But we also have a large installed base of thin clients which in the results show as Error 235 -not found or Netbios ports ETC. This skews our reports to management , is there any way to ignore these machines ? We do have Acitive Directory scans available but its nice to know that all machines will be targeted by the IP range scan.
You can certainly add a range or single address exclusion from within the 'IP Address/Range tab'. You can also select 'Scan only' options such as 'Workstations'. For additional options, we would urge you to utilize our feature request form, available here:
