I don't really see a question in this statement however, the scheduler should start the scheduled job at the correct time but may take time to complete the vendor patch installation process. Also make sure that TCP port 3121 is open from your target machine to the console machine as this is how the tracker will communicate with the console.
At the time of the "scheduling" the firewall was not enabled. I also noticed that patches did get deployed, but at some other random time. NOT GOOD!

If you are attempting to deploy to a hosted virtual machine or template, you will want to ensure that VMware Tools is installed on the target, as this will provide the mechanism by which the console machine will receive status updates.
