You can setup an external, internet routable address for the agents to use. In this scenario, the agents will not be able to receive commands from the console (such as when a policy update notification is sent). The agents will still obtain new policies when they successfully check-in. In order to achieve this configuration, the agent must be manually installed using the external address. The external address will still need to use TCP3121, will need to re-direct to the internal console on TCP3121, and will need to be added as an Alias on the console. In instances in which these agent machines are physically connected to the internal network, they will still use the external address to connect to the console.
