I see you do have a case with us open on this issue. There are a couple things I'd suggest sending if you can:
1. An export of msinfo32.exe from the machine where you have this problem. To do this, go to Start > Run (or search on newer OS's will work), then type msinfo32.exe and hit enter. When the System Information screen comes up go to File > Export. This creates an export to txt.
2. Logs (if any) from the machine where you have this error. They should be located in one of the following directories:
-Vista, 2008, & Win7: C:ProgramDataShavlik TechnologiesLogs
-Windows XP & 2003: C:Documents and SettingsAll UsersApplication DataShavlik TechnologiesLogs
(These may be in a VMware directory rather than Shavlik Technologies for v.8.0 and above.)
Hopefully these will help us find out why you're seeing this error.
