When a machine is successfully scanned with a credential, that credential will be set as the machine's assigned credential. Subsequent scans with different stored credentials will not change this value.
If you have changed the password for a credential, and are specifying that credential for the machine in question within the machine group being scanned, the scan should complete successfully. However, if the machine has a different assigned credential, and the password for that credential has not been changed, the deployment will fail.
To correct this, identify the machine within 'Machine View', select the machine, and choose 'Machine Properties' from the alternate (right-click) menu. From the 'Credential' drop-down menu, select the correct credential for the machine (e.g. the credential for which the password was changed). Else, you can identify the credential which is currently assigned to the machine, and change the password for that credential via the 'Manage>Credentials' menu.
