What is the affected Browser version?
Sorry, the original post should have have said:
NetChk Patch description:
iedvtool.dll version should be 9.0.8112.16437
ieframe.dll version should be 9.0.8112.16437
You scan the target machine (Windows 7 32-bit) using the Security Patch Scan template. Internet Explorer 9 is detected as an installed product (and is displayed in the results of the scan as an Informational item). The target machine has the following file versions:
%ProgramFiles%Internet Exploreriedvtool.dll version = 9.0.8112.16421
%ProgramFiles%Internet Explorerieframe.dll version = 9.0.8112.16434
MS11-081/Q2586448 is detected neither as missing, nor as installed.
Is this correct?
Will be fixed in today's XML release. Thanks,
It sounds like you found the problem, but to answer your post regarding clarification: Using the Security Patch Scan template, IE9 is NOT detected as installed under Informational Items, but it is actually installed, and the IE9 cumulative updates are listed in the Patch Installed list.
We have released new data files which should now resolve this issue. We thank you for you patience and understanding. Please find the release information below.

I just realized that the same problem exists on a Vista Home Premium SP2 (32-bit) system with IE9. I'll mark this thread as not answered.
Was not able to reproduce the issue on a test machine running Vista SP2 w/ IE9. Please contact support and submit logs.
Sorry, that system is a notebook that is out of the office now, I won't be able to test it again until next week.
I can't reproduce the problem on Vista now, so I guess it is fixed.
