Which version of Protect are you using? I am assuming that this is an agentless deployment, is that correct? Are other patches deploying to the machine successfully? Are you using a custom deployment template? Does the deployment complete successfully (i.e. does the batch file finish processing and rename to a '.his' file? If there is a post-deployment reboot specified, does that occur, etc.)?
When you run the patch manually, is there any interaction required (i.e. specifying a path, etc.)?
Version used: 7.6.0
Yes, it is an agentless deployment.
Yes, other patches are deploying successfully.
Yes, I am using a custom deployment template. The 2 differences between my custom deployment template and the standard one are:
mine uses the slowest possible copy speed and it specifies never to reboot after installation.
Yes, the deployment completes successfully.
There is no post deployment reboot.
Thanks for looking into this.
After the deployment has occured via Protect, and the machine has had an opportunity to power-cycle, does the patch still indicate as missing?
Oops. Feeling pretty silly about this one:
No, after the deployment has occured via Protect, and the machine has had an opportunity to power-cycle, the patchdoes not indicate as missing anymore.
Sorry for wasting your time.
Lorenzo, there is nothing to feel silly about. Glad that we got it figured out!
