I'm seeing the same problem. The XML file has the wrong info.
Detection issues with MSWU-509 will be fixed in next XML release. Scheduled to be released on 5/12/11
Again I'm posting on an old thread, but it's the same patch, and the same issue.
Event log shows: "Windows update could not be installed because of error 2359302 "" (Command line: "C:WindowsSystem32WUSA.exe "C:WindowsTEMP739d98c6-b473-4611-9ecc-62da945d89eaWindows6.1-KB2388210-x64.msu" /quiet /norestart ")". Error 2359302 = WU_S_ALREADY_INSTALLED
The machine where the patch thinks it needs to be installed is Windows 7 64-bit, no service pack, with Internet Explorer 9 installed. Please let me know if you need any more info about the machine, or from the registry, etc.
Can this please be fixed in the next XML release?
Important to note is the reason for which the update is indicated as missing (within the details of the scan result). If it is the case that Windows considers the update already installed (and thus it fails to install during deployment), it may be that the update did not apply correctly.
If you still suspect an incorrect detection, please contact support directly for assistance generating and analyzing log details.
