Did this error occur during the upgrade, or at some point after the upgrade?
The upgrade went fine. It's when I try to start up NetProtect. I have a support ticket in. THey say I may be missing a file when I sneaker netted over other files from the connected network. But I'm not sure which one. Any help on this woudl be great.
Following is the location information for the necessary datafiles (this is specifically for versions 7.6.1482 and 7.6.1496). Hopefully this will help.
I reloaded the files an it didn't wrok. So the final answer from support is to reinstall 7.6. Lovely... Thanks for the help though.
This error typically occurs when the datafiles are not the correct versions. You will want to ensure that you are obtaining the files specifically intended for the version of NetChk Protect which you are using, and be certain that the files are not somehow being altered (i.e. receiving cached copies of files, files being tagged as 'blocked' due to a GPO, etc.) when you are attempting to download or copy them.
