Just a quick comment: The error message actually is "Shavlik NetChk Patch Scanner has stopped working". It seems it stops working when it's scanning a remote PC over a slow link. It doesn't happen always, but most of times it does.
We most likely will need logs:(Directions below)
What was being done at the time the error occurred?
Can this be reproduced, what are the exact steps to reproduce?
What product and version build number are you currently experiencing an issue with?
What is the Operating System of the console machine?
What version of SQL are you running and is the database remote or local to the console machine?
Directions for logs.
-In NetChk, go to Tools > Options > Logging and change logging to “All” for both user interface and services.

-Reproduce the issue. (Please include exact steps to reproduce)
