Does anybody knows if PFW will work for multiple machines with the same UUID?

As titled. Does anybody knows if PFW will work for multiple machines with the same UUID? What's the patching logic like for such scenarios and what's the license count like? Thank you.

          hsingy,

This answer may get a little confusing and I apologize for that. To start the licensing is based on each individual machine and having machines with identical UUID's will not change how we look at the individuals. Now as for working with machines with the same UUID this will depend on how we are scanning he machines. If these are hosted virtual machines in VMware and you connect to the host or vcenter in our application having multiple machines with the same UUID will cause us to not be able to connect to the vcenter. It can actually cause our application to crash. If we scan the machines via any other method that does not use a vcenter connection they will be fine and treated like any physical machine on the network. I hope this helps answer your question and if you have additional ones please reply with them.
