    Are the Patch for SCCM catalog updates working?

      I noticed that Patch for SCCM hasn't published anything in awhile and when I look at the catalog version, it's almost a month old.  Is this typical?  Is there a published catalog version number I can verify against?

      If I download a fresh copy either by deleting the cached copy from my Ivanti\Patch directory or by using the offline downloader script to get https://content.ivanti.com/data/WsusCatalog2.zip, it grabs the same version that is downloaded in the console now.

       

      I have the following versions right now:

      Catalog version 2.0.2.5080 5/29/2018 8:19 PM

      Ivanti Patch for SCCM version 2.4.1488.0

       

      I have also tried uninstalling and re-installing Patch software and see no improvement.

          Hello Bryan,

           

          Thank you for your post. The SCCM downloads definitely are still working, so if you're seeing the catalog version from 5/29/18, we definitely would need to see why that is happening.

           

          The most recent catalog version is 2.0.2.5225 released on 6/22/2018. To see why your catalog may not be updating, we would want to look at your Ivanti Patch.log file. This file is found in C:\Users\{CurrentUser}\Ivanti\Ivanti Patch. This should show some reason for the catalog not downloading. If you wish to attach the log to a reply, I can review that for you as well to see if I can help provide a reason for the catalog not updating.

            I don't seem to be able to attach my Ivanti Patch.log file here in this post.  A snippet from this morning is as follows:

            Catalog version 2.0.2.5080 5/29/2018 8:19:45 PM Ivanti Patch 6/22/2018 5:14:22 PM 1 (0x0001)

            Language filter: en Ivanti Patch 6/22/2018 5:14:23 PM 5 (0x0005)

            Check for revisions - 0 published updates have revised metadata. Ivanti Patch 6/22/2018 5:14:24 PM 1 (0x0001)

             

            I can email the full log in if you need it.  I'll also check with our security team to make sure our deep inspection appliance isn't doing something dumb.

              I had our security engineer disable the caching layer for content.ivanti.com and we seem to be getting updated catalogs again.
