Thank you for posting your quesiton. Agents including cloud agents do not get associated to machine groups unless you scan them agentlessly, but when an agent checks in after being installed it will show up in View > Machines and that is where you can see all of the information for the agent. Additionally you can generate reports on the agent(s) in Tools > Create Report.
Thanks for that - I have noticed that my agent on this machine is showing as "Agent is provisionally registered" and then I choose to "Perform Agent check-in" I get the following entries:
- Checking In
- Check-in succeeded
- No policy has been assigned. Binary updates are skipped.
- No policy has been assigned. Date updates are skipped.
In your policy General tab, you want to specify whether the agent is using a distribution server or vendor over internet. If the distribution server, then you want to make sure you have everything correctly configured and synced so the agent can get the data it needs or else it will not get any policy information:
