After reading several Shavlik support documents it sounds like we'll need a Windows 10 v1703 ISO, in order for Shavlik to be able to upgrade our existing Windows 10 v1607 machines. We do have to use a STIG'd version of Windows 10 so the question I have is should I be able to use our STIG'd version of Windows 10 v1703 WIM file, convert it to ISO, and expect successful testing of having Shavlik push the ISO to our existing Windows 10 v1607 machines?
Thank you for posting your question. In theory, the converted ISO file should be just fine. I would suggest that you pick a test machine and try installing the ISO manually and see if the upgrade from 1607 to 1703 is successful. As long as this is successful, you should have no issues running the update using our processes which are outlined in the document below.
