Is the target machine Windows 7 sp1 or Server 2008 R2 sp1? These are the two operating systems that this software is setup to install to.
Yes all the computers I've tried are Windows 7 Enterprise. I've tried on a Virtual Machine and physical laptop.
I would recommend opening a support case at http://support.shavlik.com/, or by calling into support and having them open a case for you. Here is the link to the contact information: https://community.ivanti.com/community/contact-support We will need you to clear out the existing logs and then launch the console and change the setting in tools and options then the Logging tab and make sure the settings are set to all and Diagnostic patch scanning is on. Then scan the target machines. We will need a screen shot of the results and the logs that are generated.
