For example, after I scan a server, a patch appears in the results screen with End Of Life (EOL) date of 5/12/2014 (in the past), is that just informational? Will a Shavlik scan ever remove it or replace it?
EOL indicates a product has been designated as at End-of-Life by their vendor. We will continue to support the product as long as patches are being released to the public. This is informational data, but admins should consider upgrading to a later version when possible.
