Thank you for posting your question. Windows Server 2016 is not supported for Protect 9.2 consoles, but will be supported in Ivanti Patch for Windows Servers (Protect 9.3) for which the ETA is the end of April.
Thanks, I guess for now I can install it on a Windows 2012 server and from there migrate it to the Windows 2016 server once the new version is ready right?
There are 2 likely scenarios for that.
If migration from 9.2 to 9.3 directly is supported once 9.3 is released, you could install 9.3 on Server 2016 and migrate your existing console directly.
If it isn't, you would need to upgrade your 9.2 console to 9.3, install 9.3 on your Server 2016 box, then do a migration that way.
Either way, you should be able to move over to Server 2016
