Running Protect Standard 9.2.0 Build 5119 on Windows 10 64-bit Pro.
I've been getting this "failed signature check" message on a couple of applications (Ccleaner, Classic Shell4) for some time now.
I had a look at previous posts about this message and rootsupd.exe is mentioned but I can't find any further mention or download of that.
What is the best way of fixing these messages?
Microsoft removed the the rootupd.exe which used to update the root certificates. Unfortunately, we don't have a workaround and are forced to point customers to this article: Configure Trusted Roots and Disallowed Certificates
What it comes down to, most root certificate updates are automatically pushed through Windows Update checks, but there are other options.
