Remote dialogue is not displayed on some machines?

    DenAlb Rookie

We are using a remote dialogue while patch deployment to show that patching is in progress. On some machines I noticed that this dialogue is not displayed. What could be the reason? Is there any software that is used for displaying this dialogue?

The following text is shown in the logfile "SafeReboot_silent.log". It looks like the dialogue should be displayed.

I noticed this behaviour only on machines running Windows Server 2008 R2. Other machines running the same OS the dialogue is displayed correctly.

I thought that the reason could be Microsoft Visual C++ 2008 Redistributable, but after removing this software from my test machine the remote dialogue is still displayed.

We don't use agent for deploying the patches. We only use the Shavlik Remote Scheduler Service.
