    Shavlik Patches and SCCM

    mreny Rookie

I am using SCCM 2012 R2 along with Shavlik Patch to tend to my non MS updates and patches.  I would like to have the ability to install certain software packages that are already being delivered to us and updating on systems where the software is install.  I would like to create a collection in SCCM that would when a system in imaged and it does its software inventory to install Java and Adobe Flash.  Right now those packages do not install and I am having to do that manually which is taking up time and resources.

When I download these patches they are assigned into a Software Update Group and the Adobe updates go to all client workstations which new imaged systems reside, but yet they do not install the client.  The same occurs for the Java clients.  SO what am I missing to have this happen.  I would like it to happen once the system does a hardware update in SCCM which actually is where software listed in Add/Remove Programs reside.

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.
