On the occasions that I moved devices from one location to another, I run a Power Status Scan on that machine which refreshes and updates the IP address. We set up a scheduled Power Status Scan for each Machine Group to occur daily. This refreshes the machine information such as if it is moved from one OU to another, updates the Machine Group and updates the IP address.
We were having issues like you describe and that seems to have cleared it up. It may work for you as well. We are on Shavlik Protect Standard 9.2.0 Build 4988
Thank you. It seems that the Power Status scan is not included on my license (Shavlik Protect Standard 9.2.0 Build 4988). I had that scan available before I entered my license key, but it is no longer there.
Sorry, I forgot that the power features are an additional license that we purchased. I don't have a machine available to test the Asset Scan if that will update the IP. I wonder if that will accomplish the same thing.
