Patches getting published to HTTP instead of HTTPS after enabling ssl

    Rookie

Hi, I had Shavlik working well a few weeks ago, and then made the decision to use SSL for update communication.   I configured SCUP, Shavlik, and WSUS to require SSL, and all communication tests came checked out OK.  My Windows updates are working just fine using SSL over port 8531, but my third party patches are no longer getting through.  When I was looking around the system today, I found that the content for the third patches is getting published to http://<WSUSServer>:8530/Content/<patchID>.   Because I have selected "require SSL" on the wsus server, it seems as if my clients can't get these updates.

If someone could point me in the right direction as to how to remedy this, I would be very grateful.

      Thanks,

      Kevin
