I have several workstations with Adobe Acrobat Pro that will not patch. Just seems to not be taking the patches for some reason.
I'm running 9.1 latest build, BTW...
This type of issue will be near impossible to troubleshoot without some logging. I would suggest opening a support case and include information from this article: DPDTrace command line logging tool used for patch detection issues
You could also attempt to install the patches by hand take screenshots of any errors that come up. The patch would be located in the C:\Windows\ProPatches\Patches folder on the target machine. You can attach these to the case too.
