I see the same problem with KB2878284 on some, but not all, 64-bit Windows 7 machines after upgrading from 32-bit Office 2007 to 2010. Scans that say this patch is needed do not give a reason. Normally I'd expect a file version or registry entry to be flagged.
First thing - can you verify the patch definitions are up to date by going into Help > About in your Protect console? You should see the data versions listed on the right side.

Thanks Adam, patch definitions were not up to date. I have copied latest definitions to "C:\ProgramData\LANDesk\Shavlik Protect\Console\DataFiles" folder, it works fine now.
