The basic method would be to go to View > Results and deploy any outstanding missing patches from there. You can choose one or more patches using Shift or CTRL, right-click and choose Deploy. That being said, we recommend a scan - deployment - reboot - follow-up scan to ensure machines are getting patched. FYI: All patches shown as missing can be installed at the same time without reboot between installs.
If that doesn't answer your question, I would like a better understanding on what you are trying to accomplish here. Could yo expand on this? "Basically, need to patch in waves depending on the previous results."?
Makes sense for a single deployment but I'd like to know if for instance:
Machine Group A starts a patches deployment, once done to trigger Machine Group B deployment, we have a requirement to patch in subsequent waves based on the results of the previous wave.
Thank you for the clarification. That type of 'trigger' based operation is not available in the current version of Protect. Scan/Deployment automation would use specific times and cannot be based on previous results.
I'd be happy to help brainstorm some configurations if you have further questions.
May I suggest you create a feature request? Feature Requests
Thanks! Will do.
