    Rookie

      Hello to All!

I have some problems with SCCm 2012 with Shavlik Patch.

As shown in Picture below, some published Updates states InstallationImpossible

      Shavlik.PNG

      And patchdownloader.log returns following Error:

ERROR: DownloadContentFiles() failed with hr=0x80070194    Software Updates Patch Downloader    20.05.2014 12:12:18    6884 (0x1AE4)

Anybody have an Idea, whats wrong?

      Greetings from Austria

          Hello,

hr=0x80070194 is an SCCM/WSUS error.  There is a lot of information on this error on the internet.

I do see where one of our customers had the same error.  The root cause of their error was the WSUS content path in IIS issue had a comma in the path.

          This may help:  hr=0x80070194

          Best regards from 45.069234 / -93.187516,

Thats not the Problem, the Path is correct...also Adobe Reader Update 11.0.7 is downloading in the right Folder.

Only the other Updates like Flash Player, VLC, Shockwave and Mozilla failed to download, and the Update State in Shavlik shows Installation Impossible.

              Hello,

I verified I could publish QFF2901 – Mozilla Firefox 29.0.1without issue, it would be a good idea to take a look at these logs:

              C:\Users\*SCCM-Admin*\Shavlik\Shavlik Patch

Contains both logs and datafiles/binaries used by Shavlik Patch plugin.

                      Logs found here:

AutoPublish.log - Contains logging of publishing process.

Shavlik Patch.log - Contains logging of Shavlik Patch plugin operations.

Do you see anything obvious in the logs?

We could work this through a case if you need me to take a look at the logs, otherwise post any errors you see.

              Thanks,

              Charles

But no cab Files in the WsusContent Folders.

                Looking towmorrow for other options.

                regards

                  I tried following:

stop the update service, delete all Folders in WSUSContent, wsusutil reset, start update service and sync.

Now following messages appears in wsyncmgr.log:

Skipped update d232a7ba-01cd-43f0-a935-8e4404bba67a - Adobe Flash Player 13.0.0.214 for Firefox because it is up to date.

Skipped update 6e69577f-4557-4079-baf3-c522bf6213b4 - Adobe Flash Player 13.0.0.214 for Internet Explorer because it is up to date.

Skipped update a6d18360-e656-4e00-b98c-23166e342584 - Shockwave Player 12.1.1.151 because it is up to date.

                  and so on....

But still no .cab files in the Folders.

How can i download this cab files again?

                    Hello,

Manually deleting items in WSUS/SCCM is never recommended due to the fact that breaking WSUS/SCCM is always catastrophic.

Without see all of your logs, I can only assume you have a certificate out of place.  Did you follow the instructions an place the certificates where they need to be when you installed Shavlik Patch?

This issue has gone beyond what we can troubleshoot on the community.  Please open a case with support and request to be escalated to Charles somewhere in the subject or description.
