What is the operating system, and what components is your agent currently set up to use? (Patch, Threat, Asset)
Do you possibly have any other software installled that could conflict with the Protect Agent? (Antivirus or active protection software)
In the past I have seen it help to manually change the agent services to a startup type of Automatic (Delayated Start).
Server 2008 R2 and we're using Patch and Threat on this box. We don't have another AV or protection solution on this server.
I'll give your suggestion a shot and update you later this week.
No luck...took 23 minutes to boot today. We are only applying like four settings via GP, and none involve scripting or folder redirection...which I saw on some other forums could cause the behavior.
Any other ideas?

So is this the only box you've seen this behavior with?
I think at this point it might be best to open a case directly with support so we can investigate this further.
It would be appreciated if you can obtain agent logging if you open a case for this. See this document:
It could also be helpful if you can provide support the result of running the .bat in this document:
A case can easily be opened at https://support.shavlik.com/.
