Special considerations when patching the Shavlik console?

We presently have two consoles, one local and one remote.  They are both VMs.  Are there any special considerations when patching them?

Also, any special considerations patching the vCenter servers that manage the console VMs?

The main thing would be to consider that your console system may shutdown or require a reboot based on what actions you have specified to be taken in the deployment template used. If the Protect console is hosted on a VM that's managed by vCenter then you'd want to consider that you won't be able to access the console momentarily if the vCenter server reboots.

If you're patching the Protect console and it has a local sql server you'd lose access to the console as well if you use the option to shutdown sql server within the deployment template.
