I'm having an issue installing the agents on some Windows 2003 servers. On the oldest Win 2003 (non-R2) performing manual install, I get to the Agent registration page, fill out the information, select "Get Policy List", and the agent registration page just disapears, so I can not complete the installation of these. Any Ideas on what I can do to get around/fix this?
Did you recently upgrade from Protect version 8 to version 9? If so, make sure the STPlatformUpdater.exe that you're using has come from the correct version of the Protect console.
If you look in C:\Documents & Settings\All Users\Application Data\LANDesk\Shavlik Protect\Logs there should be some log files that were generated. Check in these logs to see if any errors stick out. If you are ok with posting the logs I can take a look.
