My boss wants to generate a report based on when the Agent had last checked in and send that report via email to the System Administrator as well as the laptop user. I have looked at the report types that are available, but none of them seem to be looking at the "Last Agent Check In" field from the Agent Manager table. Is there such a report? If there is no such report, how can the following be accomplished:
1) User A receives an email stating that his laptop has not been patched or has not reported status to the Shavlik console in the past x number of days.
2) System Administrator receives an email stating that User A's laptop has not been patched or has not reported status to the Shavlik console in the past x number of days.
Not possible currently. The auto email functionality is for agentless scans and deployments.
Tell me more about your situation as I may have something coming that will make your agent check ins more reliable in general. So you have some agents that are not reporting in for long periods of time? Is it because they are outside your network for periods of time and rarely, if ever, VPN in?
