Protect 9.1 Doesn't Scan after June 30, 2017

    User can refresh files without error. If the user goes to Help > About the data version will say error. When the user tries to scan, Protect will crash.

    Protect 9.1 reached End Of Life on June 30, 2017 as is mentioned in this document End of Life Information for Shavlik Products - Shavlik OEM - HEAT OEM - Legacy Product Lifecycle Policy . Protect 9.1 consoles will not be able to scan for patches. You can attempt to launch the task, but the scan will not occur. You can still deploy patches.




    Upgrade Protect 9.1 to one of the two current versions of Protect. The most recent versions can be found here:
