This document explains how Ivanti Patch for Servers handles the CB and CBB servicing branches for Windows 10.
We do not distinguish between the CB (Current Branch) and the CBB (Current Branch for Business).
CB and CBB is the Microsoft servicing branch terminology where the CBB is one version back from CB. Both branches get the latest roll-up security patches(Kbs). Our products detect versions of Windows 10 by their Service Packs (Gold, 1511, 1607, 1703+) and it is a manual update process to get to the newer versions. In our products, customers choose when to deploy/move up to the next version. So in affect CBB and CB do not affect the way we patch since the update won't automatically/accidentally happen. LTSB (Long Term Servicing Branch) is the only version that is broken out by Microsoft as a specific edition that has a specific installed version(Gold and 1607)
So in short, we support all latest cumulative updates(KBs) and offer them to the appropriate Windows 10 versions. It is up to the customer to decide if they want to deploy the Service Packs to move up to the next version (1511, 1607 or 1703..ect).
