Protect 9.0 Will Cease To Function on October 19th, 2016.

    PRODUCT FUNCTIONALITY FOR SHAVLIK PROTECT 9.0 WILL CEASE TO FUNCTION ON OCTOBER 19, 2016.

     

    To avoid interruption of service, you should upgrade to Protect 9.2 Update 3, which can be found on our downloads page. This upgrade is free of charge here: http://www.shavlik.com/support/protect/downloads/

     

    Please note that if you have already upgraded to 9.1 or 9.2, you may disregard this document.

     

    NOTE: The Shavlik Protect 9.2 Console must be installed on a 64-bit operating system that is Windows 7 \ 2008 R2 or later. Shavlik Protect requires access to a Microsoft SQL Server database (SQL Server 2005 (Full or Express Edition) or later). If you do not have a SQL Server database, the option to install SQL Server 2014 Express Edition SP1 will be provided during the installation process.
