The purpose of this document is to show how to force an Empower Windows Agent to check-in outside of the scheduled time period specified in the agent policy. This can be useful for obtaining scan and patching results on demand without having to change the agent policy.
1. Open a CMD prompt on your Windows machine
2. Run the CMD:
c:\Program Files (x86)\LANDESK\Shavlik Empower\STAgentManagement.exe –viewtasks
3. Get the ID of the task you want to run
4. Then run:
C:\Program Files (x86)\LANDESK\Shavlik Empower\STAgentManagement.exe –start –index 6
