Updates Successfully Publish but Do Not Show in Published Third-Party Updates in Sccm

    The purpose of this article is discuss why you may not be able to see a published patch in Published Third-Party Updates in SCCM after upgrading to Shavlik Patch 2.2.




    Updates that successfully publish (and re-publish) are grayed out and are set to "Scheduled" in the Shavlik Patch tab in SCCM. The published patches do not show in Published Third-Party Updates or All Software Updates tabs







    You need to refresh the Shavlik Patch tab in SCCM so they show as published.




    1) After successfully publishing an update, select the Refresh arrows in the upper-right hand corner of the Shavlik Patch Tab and below the task tray.

    2) After the refresh, make sure to select "Synchronize Software Updates" to re-sync with the WSUS Server so that the updates can show in the Published Third-Party Updates tab.
