Scheduled Console Tasks No Longer Work After Upgrading To Protect 9.2

Version 6

    Purpose

The purpose of this document is to outline a solution to resolve issues with scheduled console tasks after upgrading to Shavlik Protect 9.2.

    Symptoms

Scheduled console tasks no longer run or when they do run, you receive the scan error 452.

    Cause

The scheduler credential has not been set or ownership has not been taken on the scheduled tasks.

    Resolution

On the Protect Console, go to Manage > Scheduled Console Tasks. In the Scheduled Console Tasks window, click the Set scheduler credential button.

Select and set the credentials in the drop down menu. Please note that the credentials must have administrative access on the machine that the console is on. If there are not credentials with administrative access, you will need to create them by clicking on New.
