The purpose of this article is to troubleshoot an error that occurs when verifying the account in Shavlik Protect Settings.
In Shavlik Patch Settings the user will get an unhandled exception error within the application.
Shavlik Patch version is out of date. This can be viewed under the About tab in Shavlik Patch Settings. An example of where to see the outdated version is shown below:
Update to the latest version and after installation, re-input user credentials and verify account successfully. Link to the download site is listed below:
