Why Can't I Open My Console?

    This documentation explains why you are encounter the message:" You have not been granted access, please see the system administrator to configure your role."




    When you try to open the Protect or Ivanti Patch for Windows Server console you will see the error message in screenshot below:






    This is because the user you are currently logged into the operating system with has not been assigned a role in the console.




    1. Verify the currently logged on user and make sure this is the correct user you normally use.

        (By default, this user is the user you installed Protect or Ivanti Patch for Windows Servers with.)

    2. If you want to add a different user than the console administrator please follow the online documentation.
